Established through a collective bargaining agreement in 1992, the Hawaii Laborers & Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET) Fund is a partnership between the 5,000 statewide members of the Hawaii Laborers Union, Local 368, and its over 250 signatory union contractors.
The underlying principle of Hawaii LECET is that through our labor and management partnership, the organized sector of the construction industry can grow and prosper. This creates opportunities for our signatory contractors, and jobs for our highly trained and skilled membership.
On the national level, the Laborers International Union of North America (LIUNA) is the largest construction trade union in North America.
